New predictive model: UMR-PRU model (Universal Mixing Rule – Peng – Robinson UNIFAC) is a group contribution predictive equation of state based on Peng – Robinson equation of state. The attractive term mixing rule developed by Voutsas et al. is well suited for the representation of highly asymmetric systems. The volume translation concept first proposed by Peneloux is also taken into account in the equation of state.
Addition of new SQLite format of pure property database to speed up the selection of pure components.
Release of the new database for pure compounds properties, “Standard 2019”.

ProSimPlus main environment
Insertion of labels or “Tags” allowing to easily visualize the simulation values: the tags allow the user to display several values of the process (streams, modules…) directly on the flowsheet in text areas automatically updated during the simulation.
More flexibility to represent unit operations (images, symbols, position of connection ports …): a new panel for editing the graphic properties of the selected elements allows the user to modify them in a few clicks without having to open additional windows.
Ability to customize of the display of streams in the summary: thanks to the addition of a menu, the user can choose to display only a selection of the streams (main flowsheet, subflowsheet, specific view). Choose the streams and properties you want to display to configure the presentation of the mass and energy balance.

New module for the simulation of plate-and-frame heat exchangers: addition of a new module for the detailed simulation of plate-and-frame heat exchangers (gasketed plate-type heat exchangers), with or without chemical reactions.
“Boiler” unit: added boiler blowdowns.
“Pinch analysis” unit: the user is able to consider the internal streams for some specific units (columns’ condenser and/or reboilers for example).
